Spray Foam Insulation
Here at Advanced Plumbing, we bring clients over 5 years of real-world experience in the insulation industry. Servicing both commercial and residential clients, we have the know-how and state-of-the-art insulation tools and materials to get the job done right.
Our technique is rooted in spray foam insulation. Why? Because it's just better in more ways than one. In contrast to fiberglass and cellulose insulation, spray foam is a more durable and lasting solution that also expertly repels dust, pollutants, mold, and extreme temperature. Best of all? It's fairly easy to apply. Unlike traditional insulation, spray foam insulation is a two-component mix of isocyanate and polyol sprayed at high heat and pressure creating tiny gas bubbles within the foam; once applied, this substance expands on contact to fill in every crevice evenly. The result? A highly well-insulated area! Call us today at (573) 707-0800 to learn more!
Whether you're having a new home built or overdue for newer insulation, be sure to make Advanced Plumbing your first choice! We specialize in residential insulation services that features our spray foam---an amazing agent that repels dirt, dust and mold while perfectly insulating your home.
For commercial business owners, having proper insulation is a must. Not only does it help keep your building and employees comfortable, but it also dramatically cuts down on expensive energy bills. Start saving today by hiring us for our spray foam insulation services!
Open Cell Spray Foam
Open cell spray foam is a great application option because it expands more than closed cell, and is slightly more cost-effective. Open cell foam creates a vapor barrier in as little as three inches and is easy to trim. Open cell spray foam is not wat resistant and should not be used below grade. The effective R-value (not insulating value) of open cell spray foam is from 3 to 4 per inch R-value depending on the manufacturer.
Closed Cell Spray Foam
Closed cell spray foam insulation is the denser of the two and more resistant to extreme temperatures and waterproof, making it an ideal choice for many commercial and residential clients. Closed cell insulation has an R-value (not insulating value) of 6-7 per inch. Although closed cell spray foam is not as affordable as open cell, it insulates nearly twice as effectively, is waterproof, and has structural rigidity to help fortify construction. Industrial and commercial applications are nearly all closed cell foam polyurethane.
